Lavrio is a seaport town in the southeastern part of Attica in Greece. Lavrio has recently been transformed by the building of a new port and major ferry terminal for the Greek Islands and a major hub for ferries to the Cyclades islands.

Psara is a Greek Island in the Aegean Sea two hours northwest of Chios with a small port linking it to other parts of Greece. Psara has an interesting maritime history and the inhabitants are proud of their past.
